Its easy to look on end tables as a convenient way to fill up an empty space in a room. But too many tables can make the room look cluttered. Also, end tables are really accent tables and the basic rule of design says that less is more. In other words, too many accents in a design concept can reduce and not enhance the final effect of a room’s décor. The same applies to end tables. Use them where the fit in, not because you have to fill up an empty space. And be careful not to overcrowd the table top with too many things are take the focus away from the table itself.
